Nova works best on modern, up-to-date browsers. Here's what we support and recommend for the best experience.

Not Supported
- Internet Explorer — IE is no longer supported by Microsoft or Nova
- Browsers older than 2021 — older versions may have layout issues or missing features
- In-app browsers (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok built-in browsers) — these can behave unpredictably. Open Nova in your default browser instead.
Recommended Settings
For the smoothest experience:
- Enable JavaScript — Nova requires JavaScript to function
- Allow cookies — needed for staying logged in and remembering preferences
- Disable aggressive ad blockers on novanetworth.com — some blockers can interfere with Plaid's bank connection window
- Enable notifications (optional) — if you want milestone alerts on desktop
Dark Mode
Nova supports dark mode that automatically follows your system preference:
- macOS: System Settings → Appearance → Dark
- Windows: Settings → Personalization → Colors → Dark
- iOS/Android: System display settings
You can also manually toggle dark mode from Settings → Appearance within Nova, regardless of your system setting.
Troubleshooting
If something looks off:
- Update your browser to the latest version
- Clear your cache (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Delete)
- Try a private/incognito window to rule out extension conflicts
- Disable browser extensions one by one to identify any conflicts
