Exporting Your Data
Your financial data belongs to you. Nova makes it easy to export your information whenever you need it.
How to Export
- Log in to your Nova account
- Navigate to Settings → Data & Privacy
- Click Export Data
- Choose your export format and date range
- Click Download — your file will be ready in seconds
What's Included
Your export includes:
- Net worth history — daily snapshots of your total net worth over time
- Account balances — historical balances for each connected account
- Transactions — categorized transaction data from all linked accounts
- Account metadata — account names, types, and institution details
You can export as CSV (compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet tool) or as a professional PDF report.

SuperNova subscribers can export their complete historical data with custom date ranges, plus set up automatic monthly exports delivered to their email.
Tips
- Before cancelling: We recommend exporting your data first, since account data is removed 30 days after cancellation.
- Regular backups: SuperNova users can schedule automatic exports for peace of mind.
- Large exports: If you have years of transaction data, the export may take a moment to generate. The file will download automatically when ready.
