How do I connect my bank account?

Go to Accounts → Add Account → Choose 'Connect with Plaid'. Select your bank from 20,000+ institutions and securely link your account. Your credentials are never stored by Nova - Plaid handles authentication securely.

Is my financial data secure?

Absolutely! We use bank-level security: AES-256 encryption for all data, TLS/SSL encryption in transit, we NEVER store your bank login credentials, encrypted access tokens only, and enterprise-grade third-party services (Plaid, Stripe, Clerk). Your data is as secure as your bank.

How much does Nova cost?

Nova offers two plans: Nova at $9.99/month ($99/year) for essential tracking with up to 10 accounts, and SuperNova at $19.99/month ($199/year) for unlimited accounts, real-time syncing, advanced AI analytics, and partner sharing. How often does my data sync?

Plaid-connected accounts update in real-time via webhooks whenever your bank reports changes. We also run a daily sync at 2 AM. Manual accounts update when you edit them. You can manually sync anytime using the 'Sync All' button.

Can I export my data?

Yes! Nova offers multiple export options: CSV export for all accounts, transactions, and goals; PDF reports with charts and summaries; Export from any page with data. Look for the 'Export' button in the top-right of most pages. Your data is always yours.
